Artacia and Mastercard collaborated to invite two Digital and New Media artists from Asia to create artworks for the new Mastercard Experience Centre in Singapore. The objective was to showcase the factors that have positioned Mastercard at the forefront of technology and innovation, while exploring the intersection of art with innovation and its societal impact through the lens of Mastercard.
These artworks not only highlighted dynamic advancements in technology within Mastercard’s themes of Contactless and Safety and Security but also incorporated a sustainability perspective. The collaboration aimed to demonstrate how innovative technologies, such as contactless payments, contribute to reducing carbon footprints and advancing sustainable practices in the financial sector.
